Four boys from South London playing exciting Chicago Rhythm and Blues decided to go in the studio for the first time on March 11th 1979, to see how they sounded on tape. Six months later, they had changed their name to Nine Below Zero and signed to A&M Records.

Nearly 45 years later they are one of the top Blues Artists producing new material on their own label, Zed Records, and touring around the world. Hear how it all started Back In The Day.
